Meet Our Crew
As Moid Entertainment’s Technical Director, Michael offers a wide array of technical expertise to the rest of the crew. Williamson County’s 2018 Media Student of the Year, Michael coordinates with the crew to determine equipment needs regularly and is responsible for the technical quality of any production. He is an advisor on all equipment issues to his crew and is tasked with selection and repairs of equipment. Michael brings amazing organizational skills to MOID to provide his crew with exactly what they need to produce the amazing videos they are capable of. While on location, Michael is in charge of monitoring equipment to guarantee it is ready to be used at a moments notice. He is also in charge of the organization of production, keeping everyone on the set timeline as well as being a “C” camera, to assist the Director of Photography in his duties.

As Moid Entertainment’s Director of Photography, Dayton is in charge of MOID’s visual style, determining lighting and composition of camera shots. Dayton adaptively plans the ideal shot framework for each production. Besides Dayton’s 3 International Telly Awards, he also brings his creative visual thinking, attention to detail and extraordinary camera operating skills to the table with every project he delves into. While on location, Dayton is in charge of ensuring Moid’s company standards are met while recording. Dayton works closely with the Technical Director to find the best equipment to achieve the visual style requested by the client.

As Moid Entertainment’s Editor in Chief, Austin is in charge of all things post-production. He works closely with our Director of Photography and Technical Director to ensure all technical aspects needed to get the footage in the best condition for editing are met. As a 3 time International Telly Award winner, and a Tennessee Governor's School of Film Alumni, Austin's work has been involved in Memphis Indie Film Festival, Nashville Film Festival, and The Tennessee Press Association. Our crew trusts Austin’s decisions in the final shaping of our videos. While on location, Austin is in charge of the transfer and safekeeping of footage as well as being a “B” camera to assist the Director of Photography in his duties.
